Mellow Mushroom to open Dublin location Mar 14
March 02 2011DUBLIN, OHIO (March 2, 2011)—Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers announced today that
the chain’s second Central Ohio location is opening in Dublin on March 14 to help the city
celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day holiday.
The new location is in the heart of Dublin’s developing Bridge Street Corridor at 6505
Dublin Center Drive, and as owner John Zachrich explains, has developed numerous local
partnerships in and around the Dublin Community.
“Dublin is such a strong community, and the Bridge Street Corridor is an important part
of bringing that community together. We’re thrilled to be here, and to be working with
our local vendors and distributors”.
According to the restaurant’s lead designer, Buck Wince of Davis Wince Architecture in
Powell, Ohio, the new Mellow Mushroom is designed for the Dublin Community.
“We’ve worked hard to honor the Irish heritage and flavor of Historic Dublin and blended it with
its proximity to Muirfeild . The thematic design has a very funky twist on the traditional Irish
pub and features some amazing wall murals painted by Columbus artists.”
The new Mellow Mushroom restaurant is another step in the City of Dublin’s development
plans for the Bridge Street Corridor. The plan will create several vibrant, walkable mixed-use
environments for Dublin residents.
The Atlanta, Ga.-based pizza chain currently operates more than 100 locations in 16 states,
including Ohio’s first franchise location at 2170 Polaris Parkway in Columbus. For more
